Judging a book by its cover.
A collection of 29 essays on responsibility, morality, faith and ethics written by a broad variety of thought leaders, this book is a serious, reflective piece. Our client wanted to convey that tone, so we created a design that felt historical, lasting and strong. For the cover, we chose a rich, brown, leather look with an interlocking border to evoke an antique feeling and a strong, heavy typeface to demonstrate that the words contained within are worth reading. This was a true “think piece” and we treated the design accordingly.
