The LEAD Center’s mission is to work collaboratively to expand policy, employment, leadership and economic advancement opportunities for people with disabilities. It’s a goal that anyone can support and one that touches so many people. For those reasons, we knew that this logo needed to represent how community-focused and universal the LEAD Center’s work is…how what they do offers opportunities to so many who need it. We developed a design that plays on an optical illusion. Initially, you simply see one triangle; when you look closer, you realize the large triangle is actually made up of several smaller triangles. This “smaller pieces/larger whole” concept is emblematic of the LEAD Center’s mission and evokes a feeling of support and of a community coming together to help one another.
